Q&A: What hair care products should I use in my biracial sons hair?
My son is nine years old and is biracial (causcasian and african american) Until now he has always wanted to keep his hair short. This year he decided to grow his hair out. I have been putting Just for Me Creme conditioner & hairdress in his hair at night I was just wondering if there is any additional or better products to put in his hair.

The answer in the following:

Coconut oil

My daughter is bi-racial as well and I love using Perfect Results Triple Silk Shampoo, Conditioner and Pro Miracle Leave in Conditioner. I also use the Non-Aerosol Hair Oil Sheen.

I love the way it leaves her hair manageable, soft and shiny =)

carol’s daughter maybe

You really want to get something that will moisturize and a natural oil to help seal the moisture

avoid products have mineral oil, petroletum, alchol etc I’m sure you can get a list and keep his hair in a protective hairstlye like canerows that will help retain length so either learn yourself or get someone to do it for him

there are many videos on youtube that teaches people how to maintain afro-textured hair
