The Permanent Mission of Norway to the United Nations, UN Development Programme and the Huairou Commission hosted an event which featured grassroots women leaders from climate threatened urban and rural communities in Africa, Asia and Latin America. They described the innovative local initiatives their organizations are taking to adapt to and offset the damage of climate threats to women’s livelihoods, living and working conditions, health and general well being.
