Q&A: Is it ok if i choose sew in hair extensions?
i want it to know if its safe for my hair and scalp. and i really want long hair so what should i do. and tell how exactly they do it and what else they put to my hair

Yes, it can be healthy for your hair. It’s considered a protective style because you’re not able to touch your real hair and therefor won’t break it off. You still need to take care of your real hair while it’s in the weave. Make sure the braids aren’t too tight or that will damage your hair possibly your scalp, too. Also, give your hair a break from them, too, meaning don’t wear a sew-in year round.

They braid all your hair and then sew the weave into the braids. You can go to youtube.com and search for sew-in installation and you’ll see videos that show you how it’s done.
