Question: Can I get some hair care tips please? (dry hair)?
Ok so I’m a blonde male with fair hair. I like to use straightners because otherwise my hair is unruly and can be downright strange (imagine a spiky haired anime character like Daisuke Niwa, that’s how my hair is unstraightened, it’s crazy).

I tend to shampoo every other day, and condition once or twice a week. Afterwards I’ll blow dry it or just leave it to dry. Afterwards I’ll use my flat irons for 5-10 mins until it looks good.

I haven’t ever seeked advice for hair care before but I’m now wondering if I could get away with washing my hair much less. You see, I enjoy a shower every day and I find if I don’t get my entire head wet then I look less clean if I just washed my face with a cloth. I like getting my hair wet.

On a day I’ve shampooed my hair will look great, but the day after it loses all it’s volume (from being laid on at night) and looks… well not as great as the day before. It becomes flattened.

What I want:
- To keep my hair looking nice with as much volume and shine each day without having to apply shampoo or other product
- To not use straightners each day, yet keep my hair straightened and tidy

But I’m not sure how to achieve this.

Also I’m wondering just how often I should condition my hair. For both my shampooing and conditioning I use a type that has some kind of heat protection. But my fringe is a bit whitish and less nice looking. Under this hair is lovely shiny hair, but the ends of my fringe is the worst part. Obviously this is the oldest hair on my head so I’m wondering how to make it look nicer (again, it looks just fine on a day where I’ve applied a product, but I don’t want to use products everyday).

I hope my question isn’t too confusing, thanks.

The following is the answer:

shower in the morning and blow dry your hair straight down

I don’t know if guys use aussie products but thats what i use, give thier moist shampoos/conditioners a try if you want

shampoo/condition every other day (every time you shampoo you should condition) but you can still shower everyday but on the days you dont wash your hair just rinse it thoroughly with water
