Question: How should I get my hair cut? (Shorter, but not too short) *Male?
i have had long hair for a while, but its really in a pain in the summer, especially when its hot out. so i want to have short hair for summer, even though there is only one month left… but have it grown back by school year. I want to wear my snapback most of the time, so no hair over the ears as I have right now. What do you guys think i should do? Heres a pic of me: (Im a 15 year old boy)

I wanted it to be like not too short on the sides, but make sure its not covering the ears. And for the bangs, something like spiked up a little. If someone could find a picture like this one, ill give you best answer. so something around this area of david beckham (a little longer on the sides, and less “gel” on the bangs”)

Chace Crawford’s hair was amazing like this. It may be a little longer than you wanted but it’s really cute. You could always cut it a little bit shorter, and the style is great because it looks messy but not like you just rolled out of bed.

If a guy’s hair grows at the average rate of 1/8″ per week and he has more than a half an inch cut off, it is not going to grow back in a month. It takes about three inches of hair to cover the ears, so if the hair is cut above the ears then it will take about half a year to get hair covering the entire ear. Either decide you want short to medium length hair for most of the next school year or don’t get your hair cut short. The sides grow out fast since they are so short. It is the length on top that should be a major concern. Here is a young guy with an ivy league but with shorter sides than Beckham.

Most of the local fifteen year old guys involved in sports are wearing short styles and there is no way their hair is going to be grown back to cover even the top of the ear by the time school starts. For images of another soccer player who wears his hair in the range of Beckham’s in that photo search under Lukas Podolski.
